GEO TEXTILES FOR SOIL EROSION CONTROL AND OTHER APPLICATIONS

Geotextiles are any textile like material, either woven, non-woven or extruded, used in various surface stabilization and surface improvement applications ranging from soil erosion control, filtration/drainage to civil engineering applications.

Biodegradable geotextiles are generally used for short term applications (ranging from few months to 10 years) where biodegradability is important attribute such as mulching, soil erosion control, landscaping etc.

Coir Geo Textiles

Coir Geotextile is a naturally biodegradable textile material which is used in variety of applications in the form of Erosion control blankets, Geo Rolls, Geo Cushions etc.

Coir Geotextile has three to five years longevity which allows for full plant and soil establishment, natural
invasion and land stabilization.

Being 100% natural and bio-degradable, coir fiber functions as a soil amendment

Water absorbent coir fiber acts as mulch on the surface and as a wick in the soil mantle.

The excellent microclimate coir provides for plant establishment, natural invasion and balanced healthy growth.

Coir meshes provides restoration of terrestrial and aquatic riparian habitat.

Coir has the characteristic of being environmentally responsible and aesthetically pleasing.
